Where do we stand for
In order to keep distriution transport on the move and at the same time meeting the increasing demands for a cleaner and safer transport requires a new approach. It requires vision, pioneering spirit and commitment. Hytruck rose to the challenge taking a broad view to create a solution that fulfils the needs of both high density inner city and regional distribution. The first result is the Hytruck C8HE distribution vehicle, a prototype based upon a conventional chassis of the Mitsubishi Canter 7.5ton distribution vehicle. It fulfils the most demanding market requirements virtually without any operational restrictions. Hytruck is delivering a distribution truck that fulfils the demands of tomorrow today but the company beliefs are more than just producing trucks.
Hytruck wants to prove that there are no longer technical restraints to realising the goal of producing and using trucks that are viable in normal distribution work with zero emissions. The ambition is to create an acceptance that the future motive energy needs will be met with hydrogen fuel cells. The pragmatic idealism recognises the value of existing technology which is utilised in realising the goal of a mobility solution that is durable and sustainable.
The zero emission requirements from tank to wheel however can not be comprised. Optimalisation when combining new patented technical solutions is an essential aspect to achieving an economically viable approach which through economies of scale will make the products commercially attractive. The hydrogen fuel cell is in the opinion of Hytruck the power source of the future. The producers of hydrogen have many differing visions for future production techniques which Hytruck is closely monitoring in order to be, eventually, able to select their preferred technique.
